Our communities have come together once more to hold a powerful Heathen spiritual gathering—this time in honour of Idunn, keeper of the sacred apples of renewal. Under the promise of friðr, we gather to honour the gods, our Ancestors, and our inclusive Heathen community.
Idunn is the gentle yet vital guardian of the apples that grant the gods their youth and vitality. She embodies renewal, growth, and the ever-turning cycles of life. Her presence reminds us that life must be tended, nourished, and renewed—just as the seasons turn and return again. In her care, the gods themselves are sustained, and through her gifts, we are invited to reflect on our own cycles of growth, healing, and rebirth.
Through Idunn’s spirit, we gather not around a single tree, but within the living cycle of renewal itself. Our sacred Vé becomes a place of tending and transformation—a space where we nourish connection, strengthen community, and honour the cycles that sustain us. Here, within this shared space, we cultivate the bonds that carry us forward.
We encourage everyone to participate in the blót, bring your own húsel feast, and sumbel (symbel), as these rituals are deeply connected. The blót this year focuses on renewal and offering—honouring Idunn through gifts that symbolize growth and sustenance. The húsel becomes a shared time of nourishment, where community gathers as a whole. At sumbel, we raise the horn to speak words of intention, gratitude, and honour—planting seeds with our voices that will carry into the seasons ahead.
There will be workshops on lore, craft, and games, along with an esoteric ceremony rooted in renewal and transformation.
